Emma Tomlinson MA VetMB MRCVS
Emma studied at Magdalene College at the University of Cambridge. Most of Emma's early veterinary career was spent in equine practice working for Buffy Shirley-Bevan, one of the UK's foremost equine vets, specialising in top class racehorses, and all other types of sports horses. Emma is director of both Tomlinson Equine Vets and Beaufort Embryo Transfer. Emma is one of England's top lady Polo players as well as being a qualified polo coach and has also evented to Intermediate level and ridden in Point-to-Point and National Hunt races.
Fiona Jacob MA VetMB MRCVS
Fiona graduated from Cambridge Veterinary School and joined the Tomlinson Equine Vet team in 2009. She spent 3 years with us developing a keen interest in sports horse performance and lameness, before moving to work in predominantly racehorse practice in Australia until 2015. Here Fiona continued to develop an interest in sports horses, whilst also doing a lot of breeding and foal work during the stud season. On returning to the UK in 2015, she worked in the Surrey area for one year before moving back to join us in 2016. Fiona is a keen horse rider, currently learning a bit of polo and getting out hunting when the opportunity arises!
